The problem

Too quiet, too harsh, or too expensive

Streaming services turn every song to the same loudness. A mix that isn't mastered sounds small next to everything else in the playlist.

✕ Releasing the raw mix

Quiet, uneven tone, and peaks that distort when Spotify encodes it.

✕ Pricey sessions or plugins

Mastering engineers and plugin bundles cost more than many releases earn.

✓ hyp.fm mastering

An adaptive master for streaming in about a minute, and you hear exactly what changed.

Why hyp.fm

A master you can trust

It listens to your mix first, then does only what it needs.

How it works

Three steps to a finished master

  1. Upload your mix

WAV, FLAC, AIFF or MP3. Pick a loudness target, or keep the default for streaming.

  2. Listen, side by side

Switch between your mix and the master at the same loudness, wherever you are in the song.

  3. Download

A 24-bit WAV for your distributor, an MP3 for everyone else.

A closer look

From a quiet mix to a release-ready master

The same song, the same dynamics, loud and clear enough to stand next to anything in the playlist.

  • Measures loudness, true peak and tonal balance before it touches anything
  • Compression only when your mix needs it
  • Clear report: what was measured, what was changed
