A frame of a lyric video: the cover art over a blurred copy of itself, the artist and title, and the sung words lighting up.
The problem

Short video is where fans find music

But editing a lyric video by hand, line by line, takes hours you'd rather spend on music.

✕ Hours in an editor

Typing every line and timing it to the vocal, for a 30-second clip.

✕ A still image

Static posts get scrolled past. Movement and words keep people watching.

✓ hyp.fm lyric videos

Words synced to the vocal automatically, motion on your artwork, ready to post.

Why hyp.fm

Everything done for you

You bring the song and the picture. We do the timing, the motion and the format.

How it works

From song to video in three steps

  1. Add your song and picture

Your cover art or a photo, and the song as WAV, FLAC or MP3.

  2. Paste the lyrics

The whole lyrics. The chorus is found and synced to the vocal for you.

  3. Download and post

A 9:16 video, ready for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.

Questions

Good to know

Do I need an account?

No: try one video without an account (with a small watermark). Create a free account for videos without it, and more of them.

Which part of the song is used?

Up to 30 seconds. The chorus is found from your lyrics, or you pick the part in the waveform.

What if my lyrics have [Verse] and [Chorus] labels?

That's fine: labels are ignored. Just paste the lyrics as they're sung.

How many videos can I make?

20 a month on the free plan during the beta, 100 on Premium.
