Sub-processors
Last updated 2026-11-02.
These companies process personal data on behalf of Hackyard People AB to run hyp.fm.
| Company | What for | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Hosting and page delivery, database and file storage, visit statistics, email delivery, audio processing for mastering, speech recognition (Workers AI) for Promote’s lyric videos, bot protection (Turnstile) and access control for our team. | USA; database, page cache and images stored in the EU jurisdiction. Global network for delivery. |
| Anthropic, PBC | Writes caption suggestions for Social posts when an artist asks for them, from the song’s title, the artist’s name and the lyrics of the video’s part, and picture descriptions in the Canvas generator from the song’s title, lyrics and the artist’s description. Anthropic doesn’t train its models on this data. | USA |
| Features & Labels, Inc. (fal.ai) | Makes the pictures in the Canvas generator from a written description of the picture, and the looping video from the chosen picture. The song itself is never sent. | USA |
| Google (Google Cloud Web Risk) | Checks the addresses of website links for phishing and malware. Only the link address is sent. | Global |
Ads for promoted releases
When an artist promotes a release with Promote, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd runs and measures the ads, and receives the ads’ videos and texts and, from visitors who agreed in the consent banner, clicks to streaming services on that release’s page. Hackyard People AB and Meta decide together how that click data is used.
Ads for hyp.fm
When we advertise hyp.fm on Facebook and Instagram, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd receives, from visitors who came from those ads (after consent where it is required), their visits to our pages and whether they signed up. Hackyard People AB and Meta decide together how that data is used.
Tools that artists choose
If an artist turns on the Meta Pixel, the Meta Conversions API or the Google Ads tag, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd or Google Ireland Ltd receives data from visitors who agreed in the consent banner. These are not our sub-processors: the artist decides to use them. Each artist page lists the tools in use in its privacy notice.
